This session will provide a general overview of data contained within cell phones and the importance of properly seizing devices. Cell phones not only store lots of data on the devices themselves, but generate massive amounts of data stored on third-party servers. This data can be extremely perishable. Recognizing, preserving and obtaining this data is critical to having a thorough and successful investigation.
